Look what God has done!
When our teams travel to Rwanda we always know we are just representatives of a much larger group of people, including many of you, who have supported our team, Love With Actions and Shalom through the years. We get to see first hand what God has been able to do to bless people through your generosity.
Here are a few of the things we were able to provide for our friends in Rwanda thanks to you:
- Wheelchairs-Thanks to Kids Mobility Network and First Pres. Church of Golden we were able to bring 5 gently used pediatric wheelchairs to LWA.
- Christmas giving at St. James Presbyterian and First Pres Golden provided 57 water filters and 140 solar lights for families in Rwanda. Life changing!
General donations allowed us to purchase:
- $2,000 of new physical therapy equipment for both of the LWA therapy centers
- 600 notebooks, pens and pencils given out to kids whose families cannot afford such a basic need for school.
- 4 new sewing machines to help Shalom start a training program in tailoring.
- Three AMAZING “Kingdom Feasts” that allowed hundreds of men, women and kids to enjoy a meal beyond their wildest dreams, with meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and even birthday cake one day.
- Materials and local labor to repair a broken bridge and repair the home of Bernadette, a 72-year-old blind widow.
